HUYS operates a COMPETITIVE soccer program called the
HEAT Futbol Club. The teams compete in the Nevada South (BOYS) and the Silver State (GIRLS) competitive soccer divisions.

Purpose:

· to provide continuing developmental opportunities for players who wish to play the game at a higher competitive level than recreational soccer.

· to provide players opportunities to train with coaches with advanced certifications.

· to contribute to the HUYS vision to be recognized as a provider of world-class soccer services.

· to contribute to the HUYS mission to facilitate soccer at a level commensurate with the abilities of talented players.

· to support, encourage, and implement within the competitive program the HUYS mandate to develop self-esteem, good sportsmanship, fitness, achievement, teamwork and skills through competitive level play.

· to further educational opportunities within the competitive program which develop players, coaches and team administrators.
